Existing Citizens

Citizenship is a social contract, a pledge of responsibility between a state and its citizen. While the newly born economic citizens invest in real terms into the economy of the country, we, on our part, want to be able to give back even more.

"While it is trendy nowadays to be a ‘citizen of the world’, if thousands of our new citizens can identify with Nevis as a place they choose to call home, if they can relate to the culture and feel proud of its people, nothing short of a miracle can happen. This is when ground-breaking scientific discoveries take place, medals are won, champions are born, records are broken, masterpieces are written and impossible becomes reality. And this is where I’d like to make a pledge on behalf of the government - to commit to our people. To put their interests before the interests of the state. For when its people grow happy and strong and healthy, will not the state be first to benefit from it? Welcome to Nevis, a place we call Home."
